This actually sucks because I felt like it was one of the illest features of the Xbox. It was very pro consumer. Damn.

Probably thanks to MVG himself broadcasting the emulation in videos. I really disliked that he essentially put Dev Mode (and all its shenanigans) on a timer for views.
Even though its supposedly just for dormant accounts, this sucks as it was the halfway between full jailbreak and nothing at all.

Emulation was FIRE on them shyts. Basically the strongest emulation machines outside of a high end gaming PC.
You can still use emulators

Yes, because thats what people on here were using dev mode for and thats why this thread was made
Pretty sure you can still use emulators though I haven't loaded any myself. And this doesn't remove dev mode, it's just purging dormant accounts. I'm surprised anyone believed MS would allow this to go in perpetuity.
