Thought I was hot shyt this morning, jumped in the CJ4 just to check framerates and stuff. Engine startup was nice and easy, turn on the battery master and press 2 buttons, but I couldn't figure out how to turn on the PFD . I swear, all the videos I've watched in the past year and I was just clueless. Looking forward to the next update though, supposed to be good performance fixes. 5950X and a 3090 but was struggling to maintain 30s in ultra at 1440P. Developer tools say limited by Main Thread, so I hope they take better advantage of multi core CPUs.

Each time new consoles come out, I hear the same thing, why can't they just make ________ for the older systems. To the untrained eye, they don't see the stuff. In Nba2k21, the court is just more shiny. I showed her Forza Horizon 5 and she thought that the environments were cool but that you don't drive trees and mountains. I didn't bother with Ratchet and Clank as I know she doesn't give a shyt about the explosions, particles and frame rate. However I showed her this and she asked me why I was watching people fly on airplanes on YouTube. I told her it was a game. She called bullshyt. So, her reasoning for wanting to see the game is due to a pessimistic attitude but she will be made a believer so the goalposts will be moved back a bit tomorrow

I hope they drop that PC performance patch when the console version releases. but your FPS should be better when you're not around big cities

It's supposed to drop tomorrow as well. But yeah it was a quick and dirty test just to see how things shook out. I'll probably break out my peripherals after work and at least get up into the air.

It's why she argues with me about getting a 4k television. So when they say diminishing returns, there is some to the extent for the untrained eye. I've legit only been able to impress non gamers with a handful of games visually.

shyt ain't as easy as I remember. Didn't know the V speeds, forgot to raise my landing gear and flaps, struggled to trim for level flight, lost altitude when I turned. It's a miracle I was able to get back on the ground in one piece .
