What?
embroidery software or CNC equipment, POS systems, inventory software that were written in the 80's.

There is also pos software, inventory software, embedded systems software that was updated in 2020.

Using an old OS becsuse you want to use old applications is their call, but most of them do not have external vendor support.

Chances are if a company is using software that a vendor hasnt updated in over a decade, they are usually internally supporting it to suit their needs.

Trust me i work with companies everyday to move their software into compatibility with the newest verions of Windows.

My job was late getting off of XP, and is on a crash mission to go to windows 10 by end of this quarter.
Like 18k users, Thousands of pieces of software, 100's of web based interfaces, Thousands of macros and access DB's.

My entire next month is going to be coordinating Win 10 / Office 365 UAT and seed testing for the Divisions i consult.
Why they waited so late to migrate to Win 10? :picard:

Man my pops still had that shyt up until a while ago. He asked me for some help with his PC, and I told him to fire it up. Man, I damn near lost it when I heard that piano when it started up :russ:. I was like "Pop, this is part of your troubles right here :mjlol:." He was like "I ain't touch this bytch in a couple of years :manny:." The old man cracks me up :russ:

When I was a contractor, this tax accountant was probably clearing six figures....

Did all of his calculations on Quickbooks.....1998...

We had to build him an XP virtual machine....we billed him 400 for it..
