well a GPU downclock isn't good for starters. (50 hz isn't a killer, but when you were already much weaker than the PS4's GPU, that's not good).

They aint changing the memory out, that's for sure. and increasing it will require them to change the Mobo which delays the system. Dunno much else they can do without delaying the launch.

I dont think the gpu will be downclocked. Their was a more recent rumor of a upclock which is very possible. The ram, no I dont it will happen but its not needed.

Maybe, but the 96gb/sec is based off a 750 Hz GPU, not 800 (the original speed when it was 102.4 instead of 96). They confirmed the downclock by spitting those numbers out and even confirmed the ESram yield issues indirectly as well. For them to say a few hours later that "graphics aren't that important" just made them look like morons IMO. Spewing out numbers not knowing the meaning behind them just to try and get a PR boost and it backfiring is just

I think they overclock the CPU personally. That seems more plausible. But the Esram yield issues were indirectly confirmed when that idiot rep spit those numbers out.

We agree to disagree. I believe this was not conformation just wrong info getting out there. A rep is just a rep so his info he had the time could have been off. I think gpu will have its speed increased to 1 ghz. GCN gpu are very overclock friendly. The X1 already has a big ass cooler on it. The esram production issue rumer has been debunked.

That Gaf insider cat CBOAT has been spot on (Even with the paying for multiplayer on PS4 ). He's the one that spilled the beans on the ESRAM yield issue and possible downclock of the GPU. Downclocking the GPU (based on those numbers - is true) would help increase the esram yields.

Yet the word on the Street is that they have 3 times as many xbox one's in production as waitstation4's. Crazy Yield info
