Sir:wtf:

How is it costing the same??
ps4: $400 at launch
psvr: $600 with all the accessories
ps4 neo: $400 (or more)
extra controller: $50
X1: $500 at launch
X1S: $400
X1Scorpio: $500 (a guess)
extra controller: $50
Acceptable 4KTV: $1000 (or more)
Top of the line headset: $300
------------------------------------------------------
$4200 (and that doesn't even include any games, which typically cost more on consoles)

Now, not even going into building a PC (which would be cheaper), but going with a prebuilt alienware, with a top of the line 1080
(New Alienware Aurora | Dell)
$2000
Mechanical Keyboard: $80
High DPI mouse: $60
Nice 1440p screen or 4K screen: $600-$1000
HTC Vive that can be modded to play Rift games: $800
Top of the line headset: $300
----------------------------------------------------
$3840 - $4240 (and that's with high end everything)

Nope. That's the cost of console gaming if you stay with the trends, which it seems like what the console companies are planning for. If you.want to keep up to date, you're paying as much as PC gamers. I could easy do the exact same with just ps4 shyt and an AMD PC moderate build (a 480x is only $200 and can play VR games)

I did the PC gaming for 3 years. Broke down and got a PS4 last year.
My biggest problem with PC gaming was the rampant cheating that goes unchecked. I would play COD, BF4, PayDay 2 and worst of all GTA5, and every game fukkers were cheating like crazy. In GTA a dude was shooting me with a gun that shot cars at me.

Like literally, the fukking gun shot cars at me.

Plenty of people on here have an X1 and a PS4, and have openly discussed buying a Scoripo and Neo :usure:

And like I said, I can do a PS4, PSVR, PSNeo comparison with "moderate" PC parts and the numbers will be similar as well (and the PC would murder the ps4 in specs, especially at 1080p/60fps)

You all think you're paying less than us PC gamers, when you're really not :francis:

@Ciggavelli you are fighting a battle you will not win here.

I've highlighted it several times.

With all that said, I do think traditional console cycles are dead.

By 2017 there will have been 7 consoles including revisions in 5 years from the 3 companies in the console game.

Wii U
PS4
XBOX ONE
XBOX ONE S
PS NEO
NINTENDO NX
PROJECT SCORPIO

I'm 1000% sure I'm paying less than a PC owner and we have 2 ps4s. I was gonna cop a neo, why would I keep a regular ps4?

Makes sense. Microsoft and Nintendo are both trying to ween us off of consoles.

when you cop a new gpu, why do you need the old one?

Same shyt with PC gamers breh. We sell our shyt when we buy new components.

@____ could put together a build that shyts all over the Neo for like $600. You don't have to buy the latest shyt to have the latest graphics on PC. The first breakdown I showed you was with the best of the best and meant for 1440p or 4K gaming. If we're just talking about 1080p gaming, the cost of a PC that can do high/ultra at 1080p/60fps is shytting all over the cost of a ps4 and ps4neo.

Just because me and some other people have multi-thousand dollar rigs, that doesn't mean everybody has to have a multi-thousand dollar rig to play games. shyt you could buy a 480x or a 1060 and be perfectly fine at all ultra 1080p.
