Microsoft’s Cortana predicts Argentina and Netherlands would be through to the World Cup Semi-Finals in Brazil
Eventually everyone has heard of Paul Octopus but Cortana could be a new word to you. However, if you are a huge fan of the Halo series on the Xbox Computer Entertainment System, Cortana shouldn’t be alien to you.
In the Halo games, Cortana is an artificial intelligence that goes wrong but the recent build by Microsoft has turned the program into a monster.

What is Cortana?

Cortana was the codename for the newly announced intelligent personal assistant and knowledge navigator for Windows Phone 8.1. We didn’t know Microsoft was going to adopt and keep the codename which would now become a rival to Apple’s Siri and Google Now.
According to Microsoft, Cortana would be completely changing the social world; it is designed to be socially intelligent. For example, you can set a reminder on Cortana to ask a friend about something, and anytime you initiate an interaction with your friend, either through call or text, the reminder pops up.

As a result, Cortana has been receiving unexpected attention after it correctly predicted winners of the World Cup fixtures. The 100% accuracy is made possible by enabling Bing prediction engine on Cortana.
The Bing prediction engine uses a complex algorithm to process different inputs, such as team’s history, game history, home-team advantage, win/loss records, user searches and much more.

Your right. Ive been using an HTC M8 and I can't help but be underwhlemd by the Android interface when compared with Windows phone. It still lags and Bluetooth is never consistently functional. Once tmobile comes out with a high end windows phone I'm jumping ship.

I've used those tho, and it doesn't do it like Cortana does
Its like saying the PS4 has voice controls too. Yeah but its some ova shyt in comparison
I'm not saying Cortana makes things like Googs now obsolete
But I am saying from a spec perspective, Microsoft is PROVING they can do much more with less hardware
My phone is flawlessly handling errrthang and it only has a 1/2gig processor
shyt, they already streamed Halo 4 via the cloud to it. No problems
Even heard these 521's can be had for as low as $60 at places like Target/etc (often but not everyday price)

Google it and check. I know it drops this year for Windows 8, Windows phone its out NOW if you know how to get it.
But it'll drop officially this fall
And it hits the Xbox One early next year. Which will be a muthafukkin beast

I'll be playing a game, then I'll be like "Xbox, Cortana.... *insert winning phrase here*"

On the celly, no matter what I'm doing on the phone. I can hold the search button
Cortana pops up asking whats good. I go "Play Mobb Deep, Temperatures Rising" and it'll instantly play
I know the other phones can do that, but when I say INSTANTLY I mean exactly how the XB1 pulls shyt up INSTANTLY while the other systems fake the funk on a nasty dunk

Did you even know when we turn off our XB1's. After I turn it back on, if I go to a game I was playing, it'll instantly resume. Only the last game you played, but I'm not complaining
