You mean the same engineers that are in denial (At least publicly) about the Xbox1 having inferior specs to the PS4?
Doesn't take an engineer to know that the CPUs in the PS3/Xbox360 are PowerPC-based CPU and the CPUs in the PS4/XB1 are X86-based CPUs. Hence software emulation is gonna be needed. And the CPU in the PS4/XB1 is meant for tablets. It ain't powerful enough.
