How important is the kinect to that system? can it work seamlessly without it or is it something you need?
I feel like even if they dropped the price down $100 it'd still be inferior to the PS4. They dumbed down on the hardware for the kinect and now they have to live with it. It'll still be the "overpriced" console but now the overpriced console missing the show piece.

The Kinect is an integral part of the system....it makes going from game to game/app to app seamlessly. I never thought abouit coppin one for the 360 because I didnt see the point but it's important to the X1. You can obviously still operate the system without it, but it makes doing shyt easier and quicker.

Now, they’ve crafted a new package that isn’t technically a price cut, but might as well be.
