Nothing wrong or unhealthy about using a microwave. The health issues are moreso about microwave dinners and shyt like that which is full of sodium. Last thing you want in your diet especially if you're black.

Personally I rarely use my microwave. I'd rather hear things up on the stove or in the oven.

Microwave water

It's a more common practice than you may think either the rise of the cheap, disposable ramen bowls.

I've seen people of all walks of life heat water up in the microwave to pour on this cause they don't wanna wait, some even going as to so far to hear the water, in the dry bowl...inside the microwave.
