I look at all the business establishments here in New England and even in places in the Midwest, that still have shorter business hours than pre-Covid. That means fewer hours and fewer jobs.

Were technically in a recession, got Gen-Z (and even Millennials) talking about how they can't afford to rent, let alone save enough to buy a house. But the WH says the economy is recovering. Where though? Grocery prices? Jobs Gas prices, still way higher than last year? Job creation where the vast majority don't pay enough to afford a 1 Bedroom in a Mid-Size city? To be fair the last one has been an issue for over a decade, it just took discouraged youth to bring it to the limelight.
I got mine though (it ain't much), just going to sit back and enjoy the joke that is the next 4 months that is the Mid-Term clown season.

Yeah I think the big difference is that Dems will support corporate interests but make sure the little guy gets SOMETHING. Republicans use race/religion to get white people focused on bullshyt while robbing them blind and doing nothing for them. Look at how most red states perform in terms of education and economics.....

Both sides are liberals in the classic sense. Neither side will decrease the cost of living for anybody.
