I went to go buy some pho soup for lunch and came back to eat it and went outside and smoked a cig..My boss was like dont come in tomorrow and I was like why..then he started screaming that I take too many breaks..I was saying that I don't even have a real lunch break like a regular jobs..I'm supposed to get a lunch break..but I work under the the table..then I said Ive been working here for almost 2 years and never got a raise and I do 80% of the work..then he was like that's because I don't know shyt about the hydro business and he would of gave me a raise if I learned what the nutrients do so I could help customers..that anybody could do my job..I was like I don't give a fukk about growing weed..I'm not some fukking botanist..I don't see myself ever fukking with plants and that's not what I want to do in life..and he was like all my friends and people i worked with over the years became multi millionaires while I'm still doing labor shyt at hydro shops,.i was like I don't give a fukk..I didnt say that..also I wanted to say I'm the only one out of them that has been to jail and prison..they don't have records..I'm not trying to go back to jail..I'm trying to live a straight life..I guess what he was saying if I learned about the products then I could help customers and get a raise..instead I just sit down and read books all day when I could be reading the labels of the products to see what they do..

I just read he's asian and his family was there? man you shouldnt have taken the cig break, you should already know asians HAVE to save face in front of fam and friends. I would have 'pretended' to bust my ass while his peeps were there. It sucks you have to 'pretend' and be fake for that small period of time, but its the game.

This has happened to me before..it feels good the first couple days..you're like freedom I can do what I want now and get to sleep in and be on the Internet all day or shop or go to SF to hang out..

Then the few days you're like my money is getting kinda low..

The next few days you're like I barely have any money ..

Then you're going broke and you're going crazy

Then you start searching Craig's list for jobs and calling your old work begging to get hired again


Then you're fukking broke sweating bullets how to pay off rent..you're thinking of going back to your old ways


You're also calling family and friends asking to borrow money from them like a crackhead

You can no longer buy the lil things in life like a bag of chips or beer

You're asking the liquor store to front you

You're checking your bank account to see if they made any mistakes by taking out extra money

Then you have to cancel Netflix and spotify accounts

Your boss ain't sayin/doin anything that other bosses ain't sayin/doin.

Most decent jobs will expect you to be upwardly mobile to justify paying you.
Otherwise, they'll go to the next man waiting to take your job, and freak it.

dude is right. if you don't care about botany and all that other shyt why work at a dispensary? a matter of a fact you don't have to care but be smart and pretend to care and learn some things about the business. the legal marijuana business is about to be the next thing in american industry and it would create a lot of rich people and you're fukking up the chance to be one. the smart thing to do is show some interest in the overall business and try to learn as much as possible from dude
