when you consider they just rolled out the Network worldwide, they clearly did so right now b/c SummerSlam is their 2nd most popular PPV. They're really counting on this to be a huge deal not just domestically but globally. There won't be another big fan-fav ppv until Royal Rumble 5 months from now.

With this SummerSlam, they're up against 1st day re-subs, new subs domestically, and hoping for a ton more globally.

They better really bring it this Sunday.

WWE hasn't had a biggest _____ ever in about 12-13 years no matter how hard they try and sell you otherwise.

For all intents and purposes this is a 1 match show and it's had precisely 4 weeks of buildup. So yea... sorry. Pretty much the only thing selling this match has been a video package.

For me personally I believe the biggest and most hyped SS ever was 98.

Cardwise yes, Buildup, not a fukking chance. When your main draw is Cena vs. Lesnar and Brie vs. Stephenie, your not really trying. If Roman fukks up his match, Bryan won't be blamed for a bad SummerSlam.

:childplease: Last year's Summerslam was bigger than this.

I think you guys mis-understood what I meant.

I'm saying given all that's riding on this Summerslam, it's arguably the biggest ever.

I mentioned nothing about the card/matches b/c that's not what I'm referring to

:shaq: So my breh. Let's get this clean up. If you are saying SummerSlam is the biggest ever, but your not talking bout the Card/Matches, then what exactly are you talking about?

I don't want to speak for him but I think he's referring to the ramifications of the network subscribers wiqth the first crop of people's memberships coming up for renewal next month. There's a lot hinging on tomorrow's show but you wouldn't know it with the blahzay buildup that the show's had

They should of went a different route with the buildup, but I def understand OPs original point.

The whole drive behind the network is Legit PPVs for 10 dollars. Yet they fail to make these seen worth the 10 dollars. The crowd goes ape shyt(or used to) for guys like Cesaro, Usos, Ziggler yet they are nowhere to be found. If they are gonna get new subs they gotta stop bullshytting with the Universe and put ppl out there the causals will pay to see in arena and home.

I can guarantee this show will not get any big number of new subs.

No. And RR will always be #2. Last year had a better card lineup and flopped
