no difference at all. album is a collection of songs. mixtape is a collection of songs. They marketed YRN as an "album" tho. I guess album = official release and mixtape is something else

YRN did flop tho, not an impressive release. They tried too hard to make catchy songs, a lot of it sounded forced. shytty production and beats.

This release is closer to No Label 2 as far as quality.

It was trash I agree. But these nikkas basically got 4 fire albums already IMO. Just cause one says "album" I'm not gonna discredit all the fly shyt they've done.

Think about like this. If Biggie had put out 3 "mix tapes" he woulda never had an "album". Music is Music period. I only consider it a mixtape if it's not original beats.

Mix tapes is Albums now, they have singles, videos, tours, only difference is they don't make corporations money.
