I finally got the album today and in the whip its incredible
But i gotta say overall this aint the Migos that i personally enjoy the most....its not what it couldve been for the same reasons YRN fell short to me....somebody in Migos ears and got them on that Fab shyt,where they dumb down the bars on they commercial albums
Quavo aint really kill nothing outside of Bad and Boujee,Takeoff may have went in on 3 songs,Offset came hardest on the singles.
But the album is still fire,unlike Fab they can dumb down and still make great music in they lane nikkas can rock too...beat selection on top of its game.
Guess they playing around alot more with the melody/melody based style.....im dissapointed people were finally starting to acknowledge Migos have some bars,but they only showed about 50% strength bars wise on this album.
It was cool when they just let Quavo handle melody duties and all Takeoff and Offset had to do was go in as hard as they could,thats the formula i like
I will never like melody based rap over rapping,its why i just cant love certain Future projects as much as others when it leans more towards that style...and we all know Future is GREAT at that shyt.
No Label 2 will remain the crown jewel until they get together and make a conscience desicion to all give you the best bars/flows they can come with again
Im not dissapointed i copped it though,its fire for what it is,just not the Migos i prefer....im still debatin if YRN>>>Culture.
