:snoop: They're not buying the watches direct from authorized dealers. They cop from jewelers. The jewelers cop a fake Audemar or Rolex, throw diamonds on it, and sell to rappers. The people copping real watches are usually collectors and they aren't going to flood it with diamonds. Rappers know a brand name and high cost without knowledge of the product so they're easy to con.

:what: Do you know the difference between being rich/well off and wealthy? A fake Rolex is the dumbest thing you can buy. A real one has value. Rappers ain't getting these watches for cheap. A jeweler will sell a fake Rolex for $20K . It's iced out but the innards are crap. It's like buying a 2015 Acura but it's just the exterior with a 2004 Honda's mechanical parts. What happens when they run into financial issues? Good luck flipping that garbage :mjlol:. Pass it on to your kids:mjcry:. Get a real one minus the crap diamonds at 9K and you can sell it for 6K or pass it on.
So you are saying knowingly buying say a 300 dollar fake rolex with cubics is dumber than buying a 9k watch and selling it for 6k (a loss of 3k without considering inflation) , hmmm...maybe im missing something

:dwillhuh: Watches hardly depreciate and expensive watches like that in time will eventually appreciate and either stay the same or even get you some profit..

why do you think watches depreciate ?

If you are going to buy jeweler y watches are probably the safest investment..

Its like saying buying gold is a bad investment, it might not be as high as it once was but they are fairly safe investments if you are looking to hold on to them 15-20 years..

Watches hardly depreciate?? What?? Dude I deal with authentic watches and understand high end reps, with the exeception of a few very exclusive pieces (Patek and a few limited Rolex), most depreciate and significantly at that. A brand new ceramic Sub date will run 8.5K, used you are looking at 7k at best, we are talking about a four year old watch and you are down more than 1G already and not considering inflation (which is at around 4% each year). Watches are not a GOOD investment, they dont make money, they just hold their value better than say a car, and that only applies to Rolex and Patek, but 99.99% of watches don't increase in value. Even with a Rolex you are looking at a 30% decrease in value after 10 years.

they might be profit makers, but they arent BAD investments. Bad investments is something that drops 90% in value over that 4 years. Not only that we are in a bad economy for shyt like watches, gold, etc. When/if the economy gets more favorable then that 8.5k watch will be back to being 8.5k or 8k...

Never said they were BAD investments, but that example I just used for a Rolex Sub Ceramic is a perfect example because it was released around 2010 at the bottom of the economy, with an introductory price of 8.5k and are now on the used market at 7k at best while the economy is better, luxury brands don't adjust for economies typically (at new), reason being they are worldwide brands and there is an economy that will the buy luxury goods at a premium (China and certain Middle East countries for example) and are more inclined to offer an economy line or limit the precious metals they add to certain watches than to devalue their primary brands. Most watches don't have precious metals (gold and platinum) or enough precious metals for them to have a value by weight (example a typical Rolex Sub or GMT may just have white gold or platinum on the hands and numbers or indices, very little by weight). It is a huge misconception that high end watch are good investments or even really investments, they have value in the future but you will lose hundreds and thousands IF you sell it, which most don't.

Idk how legit this ig is... I'm pretty sure khaled and fab are both plugged with in connects. Unless jordan brand is sending them fakes
Yeah. Khaled has a jordan connect. They have sent him custom Jordans with we the best printed on them.
He always got jays 4-6 months before they drop.
That source is fugazi. Doesnt even bother to mention how the kicks are fake.
