David Kenner and Deathrow.
They may not be broke but seeing more withdrawals than deposits due to lack of touring is the start of itWhy nikkas in here acting like Migos broke just cuz they suing?
Wayne didHas anyone ever won a case like this?
The worst thing is that Migos were already popping when they signed with cats, I can somewhat understand fukking over an artist with nothing to show for but they had a lot. Now you went to Migos and said that Kevin Lyles and them are trash snakes on some breh shyt, only to be possibly worse
lol, sorry to break the news to you but they already did that.Migos are fukkED if its true, you know they dont own any of their shyt at this point
and they're falling off, we gonna hear migos music on fukkin Popeyes chicken commercials in 5years
Despite what people and rappers may think, most artists don't get to own their masters and getting them definitely isn't automatic. It wouldn't make business sense for the label to make that a common practice. Publishing is the one thing that artist shouldn't sign away. And if they do, it should be a deal where it reverts back to the artist after a certain amount of time.
You have to have insane leverage and be willing to not take large advances to even think about getting your masters when dealing with a major label. That or buy them back for a large amount.
And nah, Jay owns all his masters but he splits ownership of Reasonable Doubt three ways with Biggs & Dame.
Nah the Migos had no buzz with Gucci Mane until 2013 when P and Coach K let them live in the studio and spent major money on promo. Then all the hits and buzz allowed them to get a major deal.
This from January 2014
LOL Buddens will definitely talk about it
