labels used to allow that shyt cause it created a nice buzz for the artist... it was NEVER legal.. free or not
you under contract for the 49ers.. you can't go play in some local league cause it's "free" they fukking own you
same thing here... you sign to a label.. that 50 page contract covers all bases... you can't fart on stage without permission

nah... you get a piece of paper every week with a set of numbers that determines how much money they should invest in you and what your levels are
