Migos are the best spitters from the ATL right now. What set them apart is their rapping ability. Their content aint much to write home about but them dudes got flows n lyrics for days. If they rapped on boom bap/east coast style production, they would get more respect. I wasn't sold on them at first, but they come a long way since Versache. They were running out of steam when Takeoff went away but now he's back....They got the spark they needed.

They got REAL stories hidden in some of those lyrics though...you can tell they're trying to tone it DOWN some places. These dudes are not idiots...i'm getting that signal in several places. They all support each other and understand some core human values about loyalty and family and ...frankly even love...I know a lot people won't appreciate that "the Migos" can embrace these themes but I know exactly what they're alluding to. You can tell that if the music industry wasn't so single driven, they could give your average "conscious" rapper a serious run for their money
