that's Boxing though. Like I said in a previous post 1 fight can change the landscape and the perception of a fight. Canelo right now is the one who needs some what of a resurgence after being embarrassed by Floyd while Cotto had 2 tough fights with both Floyd and Trout that he lost. To me it's probably a bit more intriguing now because Canelo's vulnerabilities were out on display.

Another thing is we all know GB is looking for cotto as a stepping stone / stock rebuilder for big red while marvilla looks like he might be able to get got plus cotto can have a size excuse if he loses. Cotto probably feels like he beats Sergio he can definitely draw big bank vs Canelo later can't be mad at him for playing the game he got a shorter shelf life than promoters
