My only issue with the firing is that this team is so young. All they've had to deal with is instability and a serious lack of a winning culture.
Mike Brown was a bad re-hire. We knew that coming into the season. But firing him after one year shows how incompetent ownership is.
They don't know how to build a team and they don't know how to develop talent.

I don't think so, but to each his own....There is nothing redeeming about that roster.......They've been in the lottery for 4 years straight I think, and have very lil to show for it.....Very bad executive management right there....
That is the root of the issue. The instability of Dan Gilbert. This guy has fukked Mike Brown over twice in a row. Kyrie Irving is playing for his 3rd coach 4 years into the NBA.
Believe it or not, Mike Brown had the team playing .500 ball in the second half of the season. They were beating really good teams and looked like a playoff team. Whether he was the right hire or not is under the water. The most important thing this team needs is a stable front office and player personnel. They need to build a culture and have chemistry between everyone within the organization. That leads to wins.They absolutely had to keep him on for another season or two at least.
I solely believe Dan Gilbert is the single reason why LeBron James left, and why this team has been shyt for the recent past. As long as he is the owner LBJ will ever return and the team will suck. Not even when he is
