So why doesn't he just do private tweets then? And again, why did he get upset when D'antoni said he was just a fan?

1. Tweeting back and forth with a former coach, whether you like him or not is a childish move, all of these things should be done behind the scenes. All of you Kobe disciples should be ashamed for defending this type of behavior. This dude is tweeting back and forth with Skip Bayless for crying out loud :laff:
2. I like how you left out the "without the global announcement" for the phone call. And Gary Vitti is the TRAINER. :laff: You of all people should know this Dwight.
3. If they are constantly asking players and coaches about Kobe's tweets and whether they will use his advice, then its a distraction, and one they shouldn't be burdened with.

BTW.....Im not sure this Dwight Howard thing is working out for you.

so basically Kobe isnt allowed to tweet cause he's Kobe:russ:

its not like he's been "behind the scenes" at all the last 2 years, dude has kept it as real as possible to the public, he's been transparent as hell

secondly, I obviously know who Gary Vitti is. Do you know why he called him? obviously not so let me inform you

In each of the two games he has missed, Sunday against San Antonio and Wednesday against Houston, Bryant has either sent texts or called players during the game.

In Sunday's win over the Spurs, Bryant called Lakers trainer Gary Vitti during halftime and asked to speak with Gasol. He told the forward to stay aggressive despite his struggles in the first half.

Then on Wednesday, Bryant once again reached out to his teammates.

Said Gasol: "I didn't look at my phone [during the game], but I just saw a few messages that he sent to a few of us."
so yeah, youre wrong

and again, Kobe tweeting in no different than him saying how he feels in post-game conferences. He's been an advocate for low post play all season long, he's talked about it in damn near every presser, but when he tweets about it he's a distraction???:russ:

So:

Kobe Tweets during the game.

Media sees these tweets and broadcasts them on live TV / asks players and coaches about them trying to create drama and a story.

Haters fall for it hook line and sinker and create a controversy. Now sports journalists can eat off of this and write more articles, spend more time on TV talking about this.

Ex: This the lead story on yahoo sports right now "#realtalk: Lakers lost without @kobebryant. Kobe's live-game tweets generated more buzz than the Lakers' offense in Game 1."

8 games this weekend and that's what they're focused on, cause they know people are more interested in soap opera nonsense like that than what happened on the court.

Ol "Kobe is a cancer cause ABC put his tweets on TV knowing full well they were catering to people like me" ass dudes.

Do you think Kobe is naive enough to think him tweeting during the game will not get national attention when his twitter account is a national platform? Him tweeting Phil Jackson? Him tweeting possible coaching adjustments?

His tweeting will not be the reason they lose the series if they indeed do, as they are outmatched. He is the reason they made the playoffs as his play is some of the best of his career. He should tweet, but in my opinion, he should not tweet Xs and Os, and should not tweet back and forth with Phil.

So either he's too stupid to know what's going to happen or he's unconcerned with the results. He made what is a PUBLIC STATEMENT with predictable results. If you don't give a fukk, great. But you should know that your stated position doesn't match up with the known facts.

I can't stand that fakkit. He ran Lin & Melo in the ground last year. Disrespected Melo by trying to run the offense through Lin? :what:

now disrespected Kobe by calling dude a fan

:aicmon: dude is a terrible coach

Lot of nikkas with no lives in here. Kobe has a right to tweet and commentate on the game, it's sad you herbs have turned this into an ordeal. And it's even sadder that yall are trying to create a "Kobe is the problem" agenda once again. Kobe is home-bound for the next week, he has a right to use social media and present his thoughts as the game plays out. Only on here does trying to still be a part of the team when you're homebound is trying to "steal credit". Y'all are some pathetic beings. @Bilz when you gon quit stalking Kobe's moves and actually get a life? Youve been lame for a minute now, do something with your life. Hating isn't productive of funny in 2013. Your played bruh, get a new agenda.

You voluntarily drink dog piss and you have the nerve to question what I do with my life? :heh:

It would look odd if D'antoni was on his smart phone during games.

But Kobe coaches while he plays, and it adds value during games in real time.

Someone on the bench should be assigned 1. to check for Kobe's texts and tweets AND THEN 2. to relay that content to D'antoni quickly and efficiently.
