Melo didnt have to go for Lin to stay and I call bs on Lin sitting out games without good reason considering there was a video showcasing the amount of flagrants he gets that go uncalled and he doesn't even bytch.

And a RFA has no choice on where to go if the original team matches unless you mean they were offering a similar deal, which iirc was Dolan bullshytting while saying he was hurt Lin left.
Im a Knicks fan Yiu telling me what happened ? Dantoni wanted to keep pushing Lin and trade melo for possibly deron Williams . Also once the heat exposed Lin his production went down drastically. And again he had an offer sheet couldn't sign it yet and so Knicks said they would match anything ( which was dumb to say ) but his agent went back and got the offer sheet fixed

Dantoni fathered Kerrs entire offense. Kerr winning is Dantoni winning.
This is common misconception on this board. Kerr's offense isn't based on D'Antoni's, it's based on Pop's and Winter's.
Absolutely, he definitely is the blueprint - Draymond has just taken it to ANOTHER level. You can see A LOT of the shyt the Warriors do, that Kerr translated from his time in SA. Which is why I don't get it it when dudes say Gentry is the genius behind the Warriors offense - he really isn't. This Warriors team is basically a souped-up version of the Spurs with triangle offense principles - Kerr basically took all his influences and mashed them up into one.
:dwillhuh:

Did you not read my post properly about it being based off Pop's system? First of all it's not based off the "2014 Spurs" per se, it's based off Kerr's time when he was with the Spurs in the early 2000s. I'm not saying that D'Antoni didn't have some sort of influence (after all, Gentry and D'Anonti coached together for the better part of a decade), what I'm saying is the system itself is a motion offense with triangle principles - not only is this evident in their style of play but Kerr has stated so.

The beauty of Kerr's proposed system is that it draws as much from the Triangle as it does the San Antonio Spurs' "motion weak" offense—which features nonstop movement, attacks and counters—all designed to get defenders on their heels in space. That means a play stymied on the strong side won't kill a Warriors possession this year. Instead, the ball will swing back to the weak side, where actions start afresh.

Like I said Pop's and Winter's systems. :beli:

Melo has shown he's a stubborn, selfish player, who only wants to play his way. Knicks are better off without either
