No. Indie artists are not getting as good/better mixing than Dean, MixedByAli, Manny Marroquin, 40, Eddie Sancho, Guru or any of the other big engineers/mixers. They’re getting good mixing but there are levels.

My problems with Dean were largely related to Kanye wanting dumb stuff done. His mixes on Weeknd’s stuff sound great…too bad the music isn’t great.

Damn no wonder thats the only Travis album I like. Gave Rodeo a shot becuz some kids called it classic but it sucked other than the big singles. Utopia was an embarrassment.
