The play was dumb. What does that have to with Watt being a clown or playing to the cameras or whatever the fukk? There are countless GREAT players who also "play to the cameras"....see this years MVP for an example.
It's only brought up as a criticism when they lose, even though it has fukk all to with the outcome of the game.

He is a great player, and I don't mind him doing commercials. However, he's a try hard that says a bunch of pc shyt to get people to like him.
Dude makes it seem like he works harder than everyone else and that's why he's a great player, undermining the fact he has great genetics( like every other great player) and is probably on peds.

Like I know he ain't a scrub BUT for the last 2 seasons, all you've heard media types pontificate about is how "he's the MVP of the league, even above Brady, Rodgers, etc...". So when his teams fail, and fail miserably, I don't want to hear no shyt about how he has no help, he can't do it all by himself, he only plays defense, it's his QB, it's his head coach, etc....miss me with that shyt. What I said in the other thread on him rings true, ,dude shines and stunts vs lesser comp but when the comp level goes up, he's ghost. And he does have help. Numbers won't reflect the attention that they get but teams are concerned with Mercilus and Clowney at the opposite end spot.

No different than Barry Sanders in Detroit or Deion Sanders in Atlanta. A lot of great players play on bad teams sometimes. Look at Tony Gonzalez when he was in Kansas City. Watt is a great player. How the media chooses to cover him isn't his fault. If Francesca wants to rant about the media coverage fine, but don't try to make it seem like he's overrated. Reggie White had to leave Philly to win in the playoffs.
It's not the attention that bothers people. Le Batard described it best by saying Watt tries to be what he thinks people want from their sports heroes. Hence the log cabin stories..the chopping wood and pushing tires shyt and a lot of people are just tired of the shyt.

Mike didn't really go off on Watt as much as he went off on the Texans coaches and org as a whole. And I agree with him, he told no lies.
