The regular season has become a farce tankings a problem and the playoffs have been awful
He's also right that the NBA is looking towards the finals to save it.

1. The regular season has always been that way.
2. The answer to tanking is simple, get rid of the draft/rookie wage scale, and base teams ability to sign rookies on cap space.

The regular season is only a "farce" to those that do not care for the NBA unless its a big game on national TV or the postseason. Francesa is one those.

He's not that far off if you listen. Many of the issues have come up here. You can't have owners saying they tanked when people are shelling out money for ST. You can tank, just don't say that shyt.
The NBA brings out more than any league. The caller mentioned the political talk. Again, white folks can't expect a league that is 80% black to look the other way when some of this shyt is going down. White people have the option of looking past societal issues, we don't.
The regular season is too long and poorly constructed. The system rewards bad behavior but you cant stop that (NFL is the same issue). Too many teams too. With Warriors vs. Cavs, we're blessed with two super teams but it's very realistic to see these teams in the finals for 4 or 5 straight times.
Scrap the draft and let teams sign players? May kill smaller markets
