:wtf: the fukk are they doing in tampa ? tanking ? I mean Glennon hasnt been great but hes been serviceable enough, 10td /6 picks. Bucs are 1-7. They literally have nothing to lose. why not get him some reps ? if you dont think hes the future, at least can showcase him for trade or something.

I get what you saying. And youre not even wrong.

But Lovie made the big effort to grab McCown in FA and dude has only played in 3 games. Meanwhile, TB has the 2nd worst total offense in the league with potentially one of the best WR combo's in the NFL. McCown may just have that spark that they need.

In honesty, it would be best to just ride out with Glennon. See if he eventually catches on, or use him as trade bait. Problem is- You and I both know Lovie will not get the opportunity to gradually build his team:yeshrug:. That brotha better start winning, and soon, or its :sadcam:

thing is I dont see how mccown helps them win more than glennon. in 3 games he has 2 tds and 4 picks. bucs are a mess regardless of qb, but when your best qb seems to be younger, cheaper, have a bigger upside...and you have nothing to lose...should be a no-brainer imo :manny:

no surprise. glennon was on thin ice even when he was playing well. he's been trash the last few weeks, especially in the cleveland game.

we have no qb going forward, and I have no trust in lovie making a right choice.

McCown should have never been signed to a $5 million a year contract based off of 1 season where he had 1 monster 5 TD game against one of the worst defenses in NFL history. Glennon isn't exactly lighting it up, but he hasn't been complete shyt either. The biggest knock on him is his inaccuracy, but Josh Freeman regularly completed 55% of his passes or less and he managed to stick around in Tampa for a few years (though he never should have been thrown under the bus last season either). Glennon should be starting, point blank. The McCown signing was one of the worst and most pointless signings of the offseason and it's ridiculous how they think that McCown will give them anything different than what they've had throughout the first half of the season
