He's so, so trash :scust:

nikka couldn't even call MMA properly and now they tryna get him to call wrestling :gucci:

:mjlol:

I actually think Goldberg would be perfect for the job. Their lead play by play guys don't really call moves these days. They need to sell the story of what's happening on screen. Goldberg doesn't need to know a lot of moves, he just needs to make the story sound interesting. He's done that for two decades plus with the UFC and he doesn't sound disingenuous while trying to promote what's on screen. Every single one of their play by play guys and commentators sound incredibly fake. He's going to fukk up from time to time, but fukk it...he'll do a way better job than Cole or Tom Phillips.

He actually fits into their whole get the inept guy to be the voice of the product.
As the wwe idea of their voice is get a guy that keeps a boom from happening.
Simply because said guy can not sell the product.

He'll have to change his damn name that's all I know.

He's the sort of robotic shill that is right up Vince's street though :leon:

"Here it is, THE TALE OF THE T..."

:vinsanity:IT'S A VIDEO PACKAGE, GODDAMMIT

Cokeboy gonna have a field day with him, them headsets will be burning after the opener of every show :pachaha:

Joey Styles was terrible and is one of the most overrated commentators of all-time. fukk that little Republican piece of shyt :pacspit:

I don't think Mike Goldberg will fit in with WWE's commentary style. They're better off just grooming another guy like they did with Tom Phillips.

Glad I'm not alone on that one. Styles could call moves and scream "OH MY GOD" but he fukking sucked at helping the story of a match and specially selling drama. His stint in WWE was underwhelming as fukk.

:patrice: you make a good point. I just have a hard time picturing him doing a good job when it comes to selling the drama on a match or a big moment. Then again, nobody in the WWE can do that now so I guess he's at worst a lateral move :patrice:

Joey Styles really wasn't any good. His voice doesn't really project well for a play by play guy too. It's whiny sounding.

I think Goldberg does a great job at conveying the importance of a big moment, he just fukks up A LOT when it actually comes to calling the action. The biggest hurdle for Goldberg is for him to call matches with that shytty talk radio style banter Vince loves so much and to not come across like a huge phony while talking about something he clearly has zero knowledge about

Actually, the more I think about this, it would be a HUGE mistake if they hired him. If Vince shytted on Mauro, Mike Goldberg is going to make Vince's blood pressure go through the roof. fukk, I want them to hire him just to see the reaction to Goldberg's fukk ups :mjlol:

Didnt know he left UFC. Hes not a bad commentator, people dont like him because of how basic he keeps things, but its good for drawing in unfamiliar people imo.

And Tony Schiavone>>>Joey Styles
