Its too many people getting paid off these songs... and the artists oftentime are the last ones to get theirs ...IF they get anything.

He supposed to let a gang of white folks make unsanctioned bread off his creation cause they got some rap lame in front of em? Child please

Aint no point in arguing with either end of the assembly line about some paperwork neither one aint have a damn thing to do with.

Mike not wrong, if the bread wasnt right then the biz isnt right.

NLE also isnt wrong since technically he did do the legal thing and clear the song.

How can Mike Jones have a gripe when "Still Tippin" uses this sample:

Does Mike Jones own the rights to this South German Philharmonic Orchestra piece?

The NLE joint just samples this same recording, uses additional parts that "Still Tippin" didn't use... I get it that NLE chose this sample in the first place all due to "Still Tippin".... but... as the late great Guru said "Rap is an art, you can't own no loops"

So as long as NLE's team cleared this William Tell Overture sample, they're gucci.... never even had to call Mike Jones about it... Warner owns "Still Tippin" anyway... and NLE is signed to Warner!

Them domestic violence allegations came out and his team brushed right over it with a "positive" image. He said that he wouldn't make any more violent songs too then switched up once folks started seeing that "woke" shyt was fake and the music wasnt hitting:beli:
