show was solid I just couldn't deal with the cac humor on the drive into work where I gotta deal with even more cacs so I wasn't able to listen as much

Yeah I found myself listening more to another early AM show for the past couple of years ... can't think of the name. It's strictly NFL ... It might be Pro Football Talk .


Big Mike just ... he's just too much of a joke and too mind numbingly conservative . Some of the shyt he says makes me wonder like "Damn how did his son turn out seemingly OK being reared by this guy?!"


Just reached a breaking point. Big Mike is a step from Fox news . Not even creative with it ... just stereotypical dumb jock conservative .

Lil Mike and some of the guests kept me around for a lil bit but it wasn't enough . Had to stop fukkin with it.


Ending the show leaves a huge void tho . I respect the years they've put in.

I know for me, it wasn't really the content ... trust me. As another poster said , it's an early early morning national sports talk show that had been around forever so it just almost mindlessly becomes a part of your routine as a sports head .

Until I snapped outta that shyt ...




I actually wanted it to get better for me because the format is cool. It offers variety and different voices ... but I just couldn't tolerate it . Mainly Big Mike .

I'm not sure this was totally ESPN's idea. Mike & Mike have been doing this show for a long ass time, they might have just gotten tired of it. Golic probably wants to do a show with his son and maybe Greeny wants to move back to NYC.
