espn fan avisors just sent me a survey asking about mike and jemele's new sportscenter show. I truly believe that they gave that to them to silence them. No matter what they say they will not be the same on sportscenter.

First, as someone who knows hella journalism and media people who put in work, it's messed up that Golic Jr. pretty much got a job straight out of college when other people were grinding.

Second, I wonder if they'd try to push Cassidy Hubbarth as a co-host of one of these new shows. She's cute, knows her sports and has a personality. I can see ESPN suits wanting to her to the moon.

yeah they pay in points you can exchange for amazon gift cards and sometimes they pay in cash and products.

Try signing up again and make yourself seem like a sports nut that has all their channels.

Whats the point of ESPN2?
Need to cancel some of these shows too, no need for E60, reduce the number for 30 for 30 as well, cancel the ESPYs

There is still a need for espn2, flex scheduling, lesser covered sports, tv shows...espnu needs to be strictly an online offering, ESPNNews needs to go completely.

If ESPN was smart, they'd replace Mike and Mike with a show that talks X's and O's breakdowns and analytics type stuff for basketball and baseball.

A lot of deplorables would be mad at first, but this is the one area that hasn't been brought to TV consistently. Every show tries to dumb things down to pander to casuals and idiots. Bring in some smart guys and let them show how much they really know. There is already interest in this even for football.

Sounds like a terrible idea, the point is to attract as big an audience as possible. Getting into the nitty gritty is not what you want to do with a vanilla catch all morning sports program. Now they could definitely figure out a way to do that with either nfl insiders or nfl live, those two shows back to back are a ginormous waste of airtime

Cassidy should be hosting the NBA studio show instead of Beadle, seems like they deaded that late night NBA show she used to cohost, don't really blame them since there's no need with NBATV and the fact that it seemed like it never had a set time. Mike & Mike has been using her in a role similar to what they used to do with that Balbiz jawn but she's wasted there.

That's the game now. Adapt, modify and diversify or get left behind . The model for traditional news journalism has been nullified and rendered as antiquated by non traditional news outlets . And that's the true 4th estate ... and you're talking about sports "journalist ?!" ...lucky that title even holds an iota of weight these days.
The old guard was so stubborn and deliberately refused to modify the traditional news model until it was too late .. partially their fault.

Not just a news thing ... newbies and rookies in various sectors are using non traditional channels and paths to leap frog vets .... guess who's allowed for the leap frog and channels to be opened ? Other desperate vets in the CSuite looking for a quick flip instead of doing the dirty work of restructuring .

Another case of misguided blame toward the player instead of blaming the current state of the game .
