Mike Pereira: I would eject Jadeveon Clowney for that hit.

I'm gonna play devils advocate. Cause people are missing his point

Couldn't he have made the exact same tackle with his eyes up?

That's the ONLY rule change. Leading with the top of your head vs leading with your face mask. Even in pee wee football they tell you to look at what you're hitting. How you doing that with your head looking at the ground and the top of your helmet in his chest.

But yea fukk that shyt. Bring back the missle launch hits too. And get rid of defenseless receivers. They get the ball thrown to them. At what point are they defending themselves. This shyt sucks

that's not a target hit. If Clowney knew 100% they were going to run, knew 100% the snap count, knew 100% where they were running, knew 100% he'd be basically unblocked......then maybe it's a "targeted" hit.

But there's no way he could know any of that with certainty and the play was made a second after the ball was snapped.

I've never played any kind of organized football but the runner was almost 2 feet shorter than him and trying to run low to the ground . Wouldn't he not be able to make such a tackle and be looking up ? The dude was tiny lol

some officials are idiots. you put more power in their hands and sure you can expect idiotic decisions. "when in doubt kick em out". what kind of dumb ass logic is that? thank god they'll let the booth review any decision to eject a player. hpoefully the guy in the booth will have some common sense not to eject someone unless its a deliberately dirty play. dont know how much hope im holding out for that.

lol. I have ZERO respect for Mike Pereira. He's the definition of an opportunist trying to stay relevant.

its ironic that espn has show that hit maybe everyday for the past year

yet every other story is about how violent football is and otl with all there concussion shyt

blaming the NFL when its the media that sensationalized hard hits instead of clean tackles
The media doesn't give a solitary fukk about player safety. On several occasions last year I saw plays where a player got visibly concussed and it was ignored to focus on the rest of the play. Perfect example is Ray Rice's 4th & 29 run last year. Boldin decleats a nikka with what looks like a clear crack back block and dude is clearly concussed. Not a single time did I ever hear an analyst, anchor, anybody bring that up despite the play being shown over and over again all week.

Colston landed on his head and was out for a minute. Whitner returning the INT for the score is the only thing ever touched on when that play is shown all week. The media doesn't give a shyt about these players.

I don't mind him on FOX. I'm pretty good on the rules, but he brings some insight at times on what the officials might be looking for:manny:
