Mike Santana is a professional wrestler known for his time in AEW and TNA Wrestling. He was one half of the tag team Proud N Powerful with Ortiz in AEW. The moment PNP broke up, it was like the Fat Boys thingie that Hov was talking about :mjcry:
They should have gotten a title run in the early days. TNA had them set up perfectly for them. I think they were even number one contenders but like most storylines they never followed up on it because new toys kept coming in for ol boy

I listened to a lot of the interview. He said they were slated to win the tag titles right before the pandemic. His father died, so he missed some TV time and by the time he was back, everything changed with the pandemic booking. He also said the biggest reason he wanted to split with Ortiz is because Ortiz was content with their booking, but Santana wanted more opportunity.

Yeah that’s tough. Team that ended up winning the belts when PnP was supposed to was Hangman and Omega and that ended up working out pretty well for AEW.
