Steelers fans at end of this season its gonna be 3 years since Steelers have won a playoff game and 2 years since they been in the playoffs. Cowher went 3 seasons without a playoff victory and organization sticked by him. Will Tomlin be on the hot seat next season?Yes I know Pittsburgh is loyal but another season and they might have to do what they have to do Whats the deal with his job security. I know he signed a contract extension but the future of this team is gonna be interesting.

Outside of Pittsburgh, there's still a perception that Tomlin is some untouchable "cool guy" coach that can do no wrong (besides the incident last week) and the thought of him being on the hot seat is just inconceivable. But among those who follow the team, there's a pretty heated debate on this topic. Some love Tomlin and stand by him, others see patterns and negative trends..

But the reality is the Steelers are sucking because we have tons of misses in early round draft picks, young talent that shows flashes not being developed to their potential, bad game planning (see Tebow, playoffs, 2011) and in game decisions, the team coming out absolutely flat to play horrible teams in easily winnable games, losing the turnover battle badly, injuries..

Most of the aforementioned factors can be attributed to lackluster coaching.. I'm just sayin...

I agree with everything you say.Just cant see Pittsburgh canning him but things can happen in NFL. I do think Haley needs to go.Get younger on defense and you guys could be back in division next year.Tomlin is a cool ass dude tho but all jokes aside his coaching is so-so.Yall drafts sucked tho

The Rooneys don't seem like those kind of owners. They're in a transitioning period right now, gotta let him cook. I think he def deserves another year.

Who out there would be better? Imo opinion you don't just fire a coach without any other options. Or else you're going to be looking for a head coach for a loooooooooong time

Let me guess cause he is black . Cowher never went MORE then 3 years without a playoff VICTORY.The only coach who can go 10 years without winning a game in the playoffs is Marvin Lewis

Stop making it about race. The team has been trending downward for a while and if you could point to other reasons then that's one thing, but a lot of their issues can be attributed to bad coaching that has got them in this position

He also never won a SB until year 14. Tomlin has a ring and went to another SB in half the time that it took Cowher to do the same. That should get him even more leeway than Cowher.
