It is what it is. He should have won both years.

On top of winning the triple crown, lets not act like winning the division had nothing to do with it....Its mostly always been like that.

Seriously, only dipshyts on websites like fangraphs and BP want to downplay the amazing seasons Miggy had. Its annoying and makes my interest in Baseball wane. Those MVP races were not cut and dry.

The year Felix rightfully won, after going 13-12...I never seen so much bytching before the vote came out. Then they actually shut the fukk up when he won.

Actually yes it is

Cabrera was a slightly better offensive player but Trout blows him out of the water defensively and as a base runner. It's not even close.
Cabrera's impact on offense is far greater than Trout's in the field/on the base paths.

Well, just because "it's always been like that" doesn't make it any less retarded. At one point slavery was something everyone did too.

LOL @ calling people dipshyts because they use statistics that are more encompassing and give more detail than shyt like RBIs which are team dependent stats. If you get better information than you had before, it would be ignorant to just ignore it.

And nobody is downplaying Miggy's season. He was the best hitter in the game for 3 seasons.

I'm just going to give my advice. Don't go down this road. Using words like "impact" and "great clubhouse" mean nothing. Their brain can't process objectivity, only numbers.

Here we go again. This should've been Trout's 3rd MVP award. Period. "Triple Crown" ultimately means nothing. It glorifies numbers that in 2012 (and 13, and 14), we know aren't exactly a good way to measure a player's value. How pathetic is it that Trout makes a concerted effort to hit more HRs, has his worst year as a pro, and NOW he wins an MVP? Unanimous at that? I mean, seriously.

As far as Kershaw, if I had a vote, he woulda got it. Way too good. Not that Cutch and Stanton aren't, but what Kershaw did this year is crazy. Well deserved.

No it isn't because Trout and Cabrera were very close offensively. You make it sound like Cabrera blew Trout out the water offensively and he did not. Not at all. He was slightly better, but Trout's defense and base running puts him over the top. It would be like saying a nikka that averages 35 PPG, 2 RB,1 Asst in the NBA is better than a player that averages 30, 7, 7. Trout is way more well rounded and almost as good as Cabrera is in the only thing Cabrera is good at

Right...No value, despite the fact that they won the division by one game in 2012 and won it again in 2013. Yes, driving in runs have no value...None at all. And you know that's what you mean by "glorified numbers".

Go ahead and tell me that I took your words out of context and talk around the issue, because that's whats next.

@WaddupDoe! Get you man's Trout, his girl looking :scusthov:

Homie deserves the finest OC dime
She's been riding with him since HS. Before the fame & fortune. :yeshrug: He is still in that puppy love bruh. :mjcry:

Im sure once he is been in the league longer & gets more popular he will get himself a model dime piece. :blessed:

But congrats to the Gawd Trout. If only our GM would get some better fukking pitchers & stop signing washed up superstars. So we can make a legit WS run.

Cabrera is the best hitter in baseball by a hefty margin. Trout is a really good hitter, not great. Cabrera's presence affects the entire lineup and opposing pitcher.

We saw in the postseason that Trout has a long way to go before he approaches Cabrera's level as a hitter.

Miggy has been playing on one leg for a season and a half and is still putting up great numbers (and would have won the TC again in '13 if not for his injuries).
