yooo.. alright.. i got a funny ass story..

my folk who did the Young Buck logo, and a majority of G-Unit shyt when they moved to Ecko(03/04).. he said 50, and all them was in the building going up to his office, and 50 said something.. i guess Banks laughed.. my man said 50 hauled off, and put this n!gga hat damn near into orbit he slapped him so hard.. :deadmanny:

started yelling at dude like a lil kid in front of all these folks on the elevator, telling homie he would take his chain he laughed again.. we all flew in town to sign our contracts about a week later for ZY, and that story had everybody dying on the floor laughin fam..

from that day on, I could never listen to dude Banks the same again..

:damn: :damn:

Imagine if Banks recorded "Salute You" after this happened :sadcam:

I guess that's why Banks didn't really get involved in the LOX/Fat Joe/Nas beef when the Massacre album came out. G Unit could have won that beef if Banks really went at the LOX, as he was the best rappers rapper on Fif's side as Mobb Deep was not gonna get involved with that beef unless the LOX dissed them first I'd imagine.

FIXED.

when kanye outsold 50 cent, that was 1 of the biggest moments ever in hiphop too btw, because it solidified the changing of the guard.

:what:...so a bunch on 90s babies in here tryna discredit a nikka who was REALLY out there in the streets at that time?...smh..I guarantee every nikka in this thread that call Pac soft dont have half the heart that nikka had...

the funny thing is, theyre basing this off of the humpty dance. not knowing that people actually danced back in the day.

nobody flipped their wig when pac went solo, doing videos like "trapped" back in the day. its always some young buls who were barely breathing, talking that yang-yang.

Haha you gotta look at Dipset as a hood movement rather than a "gangster" movement. Not everybody from the projects is a killa lol. And thats what Dipset represented to me, jus hood street nikkas having fun n wilding out. Not no crime organization trying to be legit or sumtin or a team full of gorillas.[/I]

basically. dipset was a hood thing. not some super-smug-thug chit.

i mean, there were a few that were extra brolic like jones, hell rell & a-mafia. but jones & rell are street niccas. and a-mafia is clearly looney tunes.

I agree with everything else u said but that height shyt don't mean ABSOLUTELY NOTHIN in the streets...I know a nikka that's like 5'5 that would whoop a nikka ass and pop em in a split second...trill talk..this nikka on the run right now actually now that I think about it..lol..

real talk.

the smallest dude on the block is the main one dragging the property value down.

That was wrecks n effects because of Phife dissing New Jack swing ...
good looks.. i dont know why i got them 2 mixed up.. maybe because they both crazy as hell..
well..Beans is a real nikka...he just got caught slippin...I don't even fault nikkas for that...if u a real nikka in the streets than L's are a part of the territory...but thing I found funny bout that situation was that when Mike Knox was poppin mad shyt on camera about him knockin Beans out n all that...he called Beans up on camera on speaker and Beans was like "Really Knox?..U knocked my out?" and it even got to the point where Knox even took it off speaker phone and just ended up havin a convo wit the nikka...while gigglin for the camera...that shyt let me know that the situation was exaggerated in some kind of way...cause Knox kinda fell back wit all that talk when he actually spoke to Beans...

not to mention the fact, Beans stays fukked up on pills, and all kinds up shyt.. dude is a easy target to get ran up on..

remember this shyt, then aint it funny how this all came to full circle with 40 Glocc himself..

[ame]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bcm48n9a_1Y[/ame]

he did pull Plies card, though.. cause Plies do talk ALOT of shyt.. realistically tho.. as i said, anyone can get ran up on.. its just we see shyt like this more.. some fans just choose to ignore it.. :manny:

2 things that should be noted, that render these little debates to pointlessnessness.

1. rappers arent softer now. just the ones that are getting deals and getting fondled by these execs. go to any city and follow the local scene, and most of that chit is like night-and-day compared to whats being pushed on television.

2. a legit tough guy and a super-thug are 2 different things. mike even described what he meant by a legit tough guy. dudes that are from the streets and have some sort of credential or at least something happening to them. 90% may be a bit much, but i would still agree with the majority.

FIXED.

there was no changing of the guard.

you do realize that 50 cent fell off a whopping 2 1/2 years before that right?

it was just a publicity stunt to boost both of their sales. that chit was not a moment.

to be real tho...the nikka Plies is fake as fukk...dont get me wrong..but the nikka got ran up on by like 30 nikkas...fukk was he gonna do?..fight em?..if 40 Glocc was really bout that...he woulda asked the nikka for a head up...straight up...outta all these nikkas who try to front like The Game is fake...this nikka stay runnin up on a rapper and beatin the shyt out of em...so he good in my book..lol...he exposed 40 Glocc even worse...

I think this generation itself as a whole is softer...matter fact I KNOW...lol..I mean there damn sure is exceptions n shyt...but the world in general was different then...people got their hands dirty FAR more...legally and illegally...just in general..any way u wanna look at it...

see.. at the same time, some folks down in Gainesville started some shyt with him up in the club at a show, some shyt popped off and Plies and his people came out the bytch shootin..

i know 80% of these rappers wont do that.. shyt, you & i both know the Wu is thorough, but when some shyt popped off down in Jax back in the day at a show- they dipped the fukk back on the bus, and outta dodge quick..

either situation doesnt necessarily make one real, or fake.. just parallel type instances, and different scenarios by what alot of folks assume the other would do..

i remember we went to see Redman across from the Capitol building in LA(damn.. my brain is shorting out on me today on specifics, my bad).. anyways.. it was Red, Hurricane G and some other folks.. some shyt popped off in there, everyone cleared the joint.. Red and G stayed put on stage trying to swing.. :heh: i know for a fact, especially back then.. ALOT of rappers woulda dipped the fukk OUT..

Hurricane G was definitely tougher than a huge majority of rappers..

Threads like this remind me who I'm dealing with on the net. I can tell either a lotta dudes young or don't know shyt bout real life.

Of course Mike was exaggerating, but the spirit of what he said holds weight.

He's saying that the average rapper back then had heart because they had to have with the places they came from.

Anyone who grew up in the 80's know how wild those times were. Being a jit in the hood...mayne you HAD to fight. So even if those rappers weren't super killers, they still had heart. Cube got beat down but he still had heart. He didn't go press charges and jump on twitter acting like it never happened. He took that whippin and kept it moving.

First of all we knew anyone could get got, there's always someone badder.

actually, juelz threw the mic at a dipset guy. thats why dude looked dumb-founded and picked the mic up. he was actually about to hand it back to juelz.

on the low, that was the best part of the whole video, but most people didnt even realize it. dude basically froze amidst all the f*ckery surrounding him, and then picked up the mic. im surprised somebody didnt sucker-punch him.

watch the video closely, you can see dude jumping off stage with the rest of them. juelz prolly didnt know him personally cuz he threw the mic str8 at that nucca. i guess thats what happens when you roll TOO deep.

he hasn't known for the whole thread..lol..

lol. im peepin that now.

dude is terrible.
