Me neither, like I said they wanted to portray a one sided image. Even before the interviews all you had to do was look at his tactics in the ring, he was playing chess not checkers because (once again) they tried to dumb his image down as a straight up brawler but in terms of psychology, defense, head movement, speed, intuitive combinations and maneuvering his opponent there simply hasn't been anyone better.

People really think boxing is a stupid sport but its more like playing chess with your fists because you've got to be a few moves ahead in order to win. The duck and left hook here was impeccable:

And the way he was avoiding punches before that was great as well. This entire video highlights the elegance of his defense:

This combo in slowmo sounds like shotgun blasts:

And the speed/precision here is out of this world:

Not an ounce of wasted energy. Whats amazing is there was an early pre Tyson interview with Cus where he mentions that "a smaller fighter with no fear, powerful punches and character will defeat anybody you put in front of him" and described Tyson to a T.

The genius in these two meeting was Cus' experience built a custom style around Tysons strengths and aptitude and Tyson was dedicated enough to master it and apply it - from the mental to the physical as well a spiritual as he trained in all three realms:

Mike Tyson – Mastering Psychological Warfare

Like I said, this mans life is very inspirational and can teach you a lot if you study it because all of his lessons shine in everything he does.

No funny shyt I believe Tyson is a war god.

And this is how disoriented a nikka gets after Tyson punches them in the head. He beat Mitch's ass so good that Mitch thought that he won the fight. :mindblown:

Mitch got his ass beat so bad that Mitch said that the cops made him (Mitch) take a blood test. :wow:

Damn I miss street nikkas. Now days fools just shoot rather than just throw the hands.

They was actually shooting more in these days than now

There are actually people on here that think tyson wouldnt body them? :mjlol:

Even some current pros..while confident..would have in the back of their mind:whoa: let me not get caught by one of his hooks or uppercuts

The same dudes who cannot even approach a random woman on the street but think they can spar with tyson.

They try to portray Mike as a brawler but he was actually a counter punching pressure fighter. A generational talent that you see maybe every 50yrs.
