I hope it turns out like Ray, and not the Michael Jordan biopic.

I'm afraid Jamie might go overboard with his impression of Tyson..

People always exaggerate Tyson's lisp (which I don't think he has anymore) and his other mannerisms.

The question is...what will the scope of his story be? Tyson's story was 1 thing in 1995 when Michael Jai White had the role. It should be a way different story today.
I can't find any information on who is writing and directing this movie. There were rumors that Martin Scorcese might do it but that is not happening.

I think this will be a let down. Tyson's life is amazing and tragic as it is. His book was fantastic and his live performance of it was very good, too. I don't know that any movie can live up to that...at least for me.

So from what age is this supposed to start at for Tyson. Hard to see people believing Jaime as a 20 year old Tyson winning the title and it's no way they can do a biopic and miss that part of his life and career.

Jamie did at least two different Mike impressions in the video posted, first one he sounded just how Mike talks now on hotboxing and etc. The older Mike. He did the younger Mike later in the vid. Breh has been tight with Mike for years.

I think Jamie would be a great choice to play Tyson in general, but he is way too old to portray a young Mike

If y’all got time you need to go down a Jamie Foxx interview rabbit hole on YouTube. Living legend. He has every impression in his bag and is a true student of film.

I’ve been hearing about this movie for years and it sounds like it was just getting started before covid. Definitely gonna be a Ray pt. 2

They’re gonna do the cgi face swap like that Will Smith movie for young Mike
