People underestimate the boxers they see on TV, like K-1, and other hyper focused combat sports, the people you see on TV are significantly better than most will give them credit for. In boxing, you get tested really early, it's not like MMA where someone with no chin can make it to the UFC. The boxers on TV are worlds apart from the average boxer, and it's another gigantic step between them and the average untrained person.
Most of my life was dedicated to wrestling but I dabbed in boxing and thai for a bit, and I can tell you that top amatuer boxers that would get washed by the people you see on TV would annihilate most people at any age, so it's hard for me to see Tyson being easy for anyone while he is still physically able to throw a punch. Boxing is more of an art than anything, that technique doesn't leave you, the experience of fighting over 50 times in a professional setting definitely doesn't leave you. If you are untrained, Tyson is knocking your block off, I don't see it any other way.
