Starkset...
Jay-Z stole Pac's lines too.

"Whatever deity guides my life//
Dear lord dont let me die tonight//"

I felt some kinda way when I heard 'The Rock' quoted Jay-Z in that G.I. Joe movie commercial cause a bunch of cacs and fukk boys will really think that Jay-Z wrote that.

nahmean!
this right here pisses me off more than anything after the countless years of blatant biting by the camel man. its 1 thing to pay homage to who you consider among the greats but when you are receiving credit for shyt that did not originate in that warped dome... that shyt is supremely wack. I'm sure Jay had to sign off on that. shyt I don't like.....

Bitten who to a great extent...outside of Big...cuz he has given us his reasoning for his constant "biting" of Big...but who has he been biting to an excessive extent?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OY06HhTniuI

I understand what he's sayin here and agree...

But my point with the Pac/G.I. Joe thing is he's the guy that often gets the credit for using "bitin" lines that come from other rappers... It's not even his fault at all, it's just the ignorance of his fanbase...

I've heard people say that him and Kanye created the term H.A.M. for example....

His intent might be to big up Nas, Pac, Big, Slick Rick etc..But the average Jay-Z fan is so uneducated to the culture that it's not gonna be remembered that way...

He has quoted more Snoop lines than any known rapper other than maybe Game. Excessive is a matter of opinion but he is definitely the all time leader in borrowed lines.

Good for him. He's secure in his ability so he has no qualms about biting. If he's ok with it then you got no reason to argue with me...

I like the fact that people think they can try and take Jay down with that "bitten rhyme" rhetoric. It hasn't worked to this point and now he does it intentionally just to piss you guys off more. It's hilarious and you still fall for it.

I don't like the fact that you create fictional conflict in your head between Jigga and random message board members based on what you read here

I don't think there's anyone who bit his style wholesale and try
to be Jigga 2.0 but there are definitely rappers mainstream and underground who have either said Jay lines word for word in their songs
OR flipped the same lines for themselves, "Paying Homage" as Jay calls it.

Wayne has done it several times for one.....

Wayne Tried To Be Jay With The Carter....

Fictional? Some of you clearly have conflict with Jay Z and he has clearly addressed your continent regarding this "biting" issue.

:rudy:I'm not a biter
I'm a writer
For myself and others
I say a B.I.G. verse I'm only biggin up my brother
Biggin up my borough
I'm big enough to do it
I'm that thorough
Plus i know my own flow is foolish:umad:

:troll:So the rings and things you sing about
Bring em out
It's hard to yell when the bar-rel's in your mouth

It's hardly real conflict, but it definitely isn't fictional. Everytime somebody decides they want to create another "I Hate Jigga" thread or post, it usually involves the same rhetoric. He's a biter, he wants to be white, he screwed Dame, he dikkrides, he has low self esteem, etc. You act like I made it up.
