It's not all the wrong reasons. I mean Tyson was/is a legit wise person. He's dropped some quotes and references like he's a scholar. That adds to his complexity. IMO. One minute he's a straight up savage next he's quoting ghandi
Naw, I feel you. I love Mike, and in many ways I think he represents the black experience in America. From how we are viewed as animalistic, criminalized, and overtly sexualized as bucks, and how we have triumphed over and/or succumbed to American racism, and those societal pressures. I admire his overall quest to better himself spirtually and intellectually, and I completely get where you're coming from that his life has deeper meaning --- even his actions. But at the same time I cant call mike intriguing, because for most of his life he has been on a collision course with death, and has behaved in an extremely dysfunctional manner. In many ways interest in Mike is like social rubber necking on the highway, and you wouldnt call a car accident "intriguing".
