Yeah we did watch and we supported him unconditionally. Black people were (and still are) Vick's biggest supporters that why people are pissed at his comments. Vick going on the Jason c00nlock show to make dumb ass comments doesn't get black people ahead

Unfortunately for him the league consensus is that he's not an elite player where putting up with the outside distractions is worth it for them.
Any time something happens that is perceived as a racial story he will be the face of the team and constantly giving a controversial opinion will distract teams from just winning and losing on a weekly basis
When Ali took his stand only he had to face the backlash and triumphed over it.
Because this is a team sport coaches and front office don't want to have to put their team into social rights battles.
