I think he's too fast to slide. That dude be flyin down the field. You have to slow down before you slide and I think he just moves too fast to get his feet in front of him.

If he slowed down enough to slide he would shave like 10yrds off of his runs.

he has a point, it is called a qb slide for a reason.... RG3 has the same problem. Vick and RG3 run like halfbacks rather than at a reduced speed like aaron rodgers

This is mike's last shot. He has to make it work. I'm sure when he & his agent sat down after last season & weighed his options for other teams. He knew he would have to compete for a starting job no matter where he went. But he knew for sure giving kelly's offensive philosophy that he could beat out foles & barkley.

Thin line between love & hate. A lot of those same fans crying because they didn't want vick on the team were the main ones cheering when he was winning games & having MVP year in 2010. A lot fans wanted foles or ANYBODY but vick. IF vick has a great season & nobody is expecting the eagles to make the playoffs but if they do then the vick fan club will be full & everybody will be on board.

Exactly. It's not hard at all to run full speed and tuck one leg under you and slide

I wouldn't say Vince was a bum. He had some emotional issues but he was talented. Same with Russell and Campbell but they had other issues with coaching, bad teams etc. The New Generation Black QB's are looking good though. RGIII (If Shananhan doesn't end his career early), Russell and The Don right now Kaepernick. Also I HAVE NOT GIVEN UP ON KILLA CAM. Carolina needs to put a better team around him:

Nah Cam is nice. He puts up numbers. His team and coach are suspect but he still does his thing.

Campbell is pretty trash too.

He bounced around from team to team and had mad opportunities. He just never impressed.

Neither of those guys even impressed me in college other than JaMarcus' arm. But I felt he was raw as fukk and compared him to Rohan Davey. Big ass bullet passes bouncing off shoulder pads cuz these nikkas can't control their firearms.

But Vince was so overrated. He was trash. Another nikka with opportunity after opportunity. System after system. So many chances and schemes to prove yourself in. Terrible numbers masked by a few TEAM wins is all Vince ever had in the NFL.

As much as he mesmerized us in that Rose Bowl he's been he's been a huge bust. And mental issues isn't a pass, it's just one of the reasons why he was a huge bust.

Nah homie. You talking baseball. Football and baseball are different.

I think surface is a factor too. It may be easier to slide on firm baseball field dirt than mailable football field grass. I think sliding at a high speed is just an injury waiting to happen.
