Yeah this is a dope project, neither of these guys is likely to ever be my favorite rapper but they have chemistry and everyone did their thing

MIKE just as good a producer as AL is rn so interesting to hear him on a project produced by someone else.

This is the first Alc project in a while where the beats have kinda missed for me. Loved Bo Jackson, Tana Talk 4, Elephant Man's Bones, Great Escape...but the production on here feels a little bit phoned in to me. The Earl album was mostly little loops, but I think that was a very purposeful decision and with the kind of production Earl's been gravitating towards, it sounded appropriate.

But half the beats on here aren't moving me a ton. Be Realistic is fire. Reminds me of some Sean Price shyt. Mayor's a Cop and Thug Anthem I fukk with those beats. Odd Ways is dope. Stargate and One More are cool.

I don't know. I'd be curious how much time they spent working on this.

Great Escape had these crazy luscious soundscapes. Bo Jackson was like Bandana with all the different styles and vibes on there. Tana Talk 4 was hard as fukk. Continuance was on the Yacht Rock vibe. Haram had a lot of different and unique sounds. The beats here just sound flatter to me for some reason.
