Excuse for WHAT? :heh:

The reason for the thread title is because old nikkas go around saying we're "entitled" and are used to things being "handed to us on a silver platter"

:laff:

We're used to WHAT being "handed" to us?

What are we used to being "given" by our 'elders'? What?

It's definitely not employment :bryan:

The point is, that entitled, silver platter shyt a fukking lie

We never got handed shyt and we didn't have anyone to look up too but still our time is passing and we gotta break the mold for the new kids coming up.

My dad told me Chrysler and GM was waiting outside his high school after graduation with job fairs giving nikkas factory jobs. High school graduation breh :gucci: And these jobs were paying the equivalent of $40,000 - $60,000 today. My grandfather had a career and bought his own house by the time he was 21. 21 brehs :gucci: Millennials aren't entitled. Baby boomers got nerve to talk about anybody having expectations when them nikkas was being gift wrapped $50,000 jobs at 18 after high school with no marketable skill sets.

Older bblacc ppl that dont have shyt to give bacc to the younger generation need to shut the fucc up

How df you 50 years old and cant even get your kid a fuccin interview at the very least :scust:

Breh it's amazing how many black ppl don't even understand what older generations were actually supposed to do. As evidenced by the typical responses to these types of threads, most think it's normal to have to go to your oppressor for jobs and stay there forever, then have your kids do the same exact thing. nikkas have become so brainwashed that when a nikka actually says he wants to set his kids up with more so that they won't have to go through the same thing, they get offended or see something wrong with it.

Then they want to know why some of us lack respect for older black men, it's because they didn't do much that was respectable as a whole :yeshrug:nikkas didn't even do the bare minimum

Out here in my damn drawls
It's sad really.

My business isn't much and barely a year old, but I'm happy that I took the leap despite older brothas telling me to how to use my degree

I make less money, it's scary at times and not easy but it's not about the money for me yet. I try to tell people about the spiritual liberation that comes with ownership and not having to look over your shoulders, afraid of someone having the power to fukk you over. Some get it, some don't.

My generation is having to learn the same lessons as pre-boomers early.

People talk shyt about the "gig economy" but job security is a joke. Nothing is guaranteed and these companies aren't cutting it anymore. We see the importance of having multiple streams of income. Everyone around my age that I encounter (25) have at least 2-3 side hustles and a main grind. The trick is folding those into real solid investments

nikkas ain't build shyt for us. I refuse to be a wage slave for the rest of my life. These cacs (and Asians and Indians too) passing their kids houses, businesses, investments and other assets and we're giving our kids what? Won't be me.

You still can't answer what did black folks have to give? :sas1:

Boy stop. During and Post Reconstruction, blacks had safe communities and black businesses, only a few decades after slavery. If blacks could build wealth in fukked up times like 1870-1930, the baby boomers have no excuse. They was too busy trying to integrate and hold hands with pawgs than worry about how to build on what their ancestors had started to get rolling.

Categorically untrue... and yo still did not answer the question. What businesses did blacks have collectively to pass down? What part of American infrastructure did we control?

You nikkas don't know shyt about black history in the states.....

Man :camby:with that. My granddaddy was born in the early 1900s and had 13 kids. He gave each one of them an acre of land that they used as collateral to get a loan to build a house. In fact 10 out of 13 still live on that land today.
:wow: same with my family too. Owned a plantation then sold that shyt to move up North. Then slowly watched urban decay set in and their neighborhoods slowly turn into the projects.
