Man I’ve tried and tried just to honor the ancestors but I just can’t get into jazz. I feel like a c00n because I know people like Miles Davis and Thelonious Monk are all time great musicians but I promise I can’t make it past a song or two before chucking that shyt in the bushesI love that delta blues though
You just gotta find a jazz album or artist that clicks with you
The older I’ve gotten, the more and more I find myself listening to Jazz constantly

Listen to the most accessible stuff with jazz elements—hip hop, electronic music, video game music, some funk and RnB that have some elements. Then work your way back in time. Listen to singers too. ESP and Miles Ahead are far, far better albums imho.
