Twerking and being ratchet is a fad that she will get bored of by next year. Watching her twerk in those "rich mom pants" with short hair was mad awkward.

Wasn't towards the original comment. It's all the gimmick Prince Akeem dudes in here who are acting like she's stealing something when, in pop culture anyways, almost all of the black style right now is from other cultures. It's as unoriginal as it's ever been. She wants a song that feels black and Wayne and Kanye want pants/music that look/sound gay and euro.

I agree with certain parts of this. There are some white people I know that are dying to be black and for the life of me I can't figure it out.

They want to copy our culture because they deem it cool but I wouldn't say they want to be us.
These same people like Miley will probably turn their noses up at having to spend a night in the projects or having to be around actual poor black people.
But they can 'harlem shake' and 'twerk' and do those things they find funny and cool and hang around rich black people but won't go near poorer ones.
I don't take white hipsters who jump on black things (which we do 7 days a week 24 7) as fads to look cool to their friends as a 'compliment'.
miley cyrus is a pop culture icon looked up to by millions of white girls. by saying this, she is setting the foundation for those white girls to lay down with black men, men of whom will have children by those very same girls - thus, making "brown" children that white america will identify as "black."
this is a loss for whites, not black people.
