Military Brehs: Did You Attend Your Service Ball?

For all my civilian brehs, this is the equivalent of a company party/event except in the military they damn near try to force you to go

The last thing I wanna do is be surrounded by a buncha drunk cacs with shytty haircuts in some stiff ass dress clothes and PAY for the ticket to do the above

Unfortunately as an NCO, I had to go to ONE which I left shortly but as a lower enlisted I always had excuses

Ive seen NCOs force soldiers to print out paystubs, show budgets and explain why they can’t afford ticket

Or if they say they just flat out dont wanna go shame u with ur not a team player, ima kick u out the army, ur selfish etc

I used make em feel guilty and lie and say family was in town so this was my special time with them:DenzelisDone:

I remember this one lieutenant (white bytch) was telling us she was having a get together at her house. I lied and said yeah im going and on the day of I didnt go, this bytch asked someone else for my phone number and called me 3 times. Then on that Monday morning got mad & wanted to write me up. bytch dont no one wanna go over there and eat ur unseasoned food:MJCrackinup:

Why cant people just enjoy their time off

Ive seen this in civilian jobs too but less stressed but more implied. Do people not have anything else better to do than hang w co workers they see 40+ hours a week ?

When i saw a NCOs date that was a girl from the local strip club off base i threw money at the weekend before knew this shyt wasnt the wave added with the fact it was like you saind mostly cacs with bad haircuts getting drunk

How can she write you up for not showing up to her spot after the ball?! What she was doing can coulda got herself into trouble. That's Fraternization. You can't host a get together with low/high mix ranks if you're not at a public setting.

i was never forced to go to one of those. I soon as i left my job at whatever time that was, i turned into a civilian.My only responsibility was to show up to work the next day.

She can’t. Thats why I told her if it’s such a big deal lets go and talk to the Captain. She was being petty and in her feelings. She apologized and sucked up to me for a long time. For what it’s worth she had a huge crush on me (she flirted with me heavy at work & I curved her all the time). She was a cute blonde chick. I ended up smashing her after she left my shop (I got put in BN on my way out the Army). It was a culture shock never dealing with female soldiers like that from infantry. There just as raunchy as us.

Part of the reason I have a hard time dealing with female supervisors. Too petty and emotional decision making. Plus I can get over on them easily. I gaslighted the shyt out that woman and made her feel bad to the point I was getting passes to not show up to PT 4 times a week:DenzelisDone:

First was 11th ACR, next 3rd brigade/101st abn, final unit was 2nd (formerly 5th) brigade 2ID. At worst, I bought a ticket one time for support but didn’t go. I just always lucked out. Being a line medic helped and being an NCO with multiple troubled joes helped lol.
