im in hawaii now, i love it here beautiful place, great weather all year round, lots of cool sh*t to do, decent night life, tourist hoes from all over the world and military wives and sh*t yea the cost of living is higher, but thats why we get paid COLA to offset the difference. you really cant tell

i went their for tdy and stayed at hickam air force base (if spelled right) my boy was at schofield barracks

hawaii was gorgeous as hell went out to the club and beach

i actually got that flower necklace thing when i arrived in airport and got a kiss from a cute girl thought that shyt was just tv

when i flew back to japan it was like only 5 of us on the plane they put us all in first class

Damn... They not fukking around with this PTS shyt I see. Sad thing about the perform to serve shyt is I watch some good sailors get becuz they fell in that window of people who get dropped. Glad they revised before I got out. shyt was sad to see.

You get a bonus? Usually with schools that long you get some kinda bonus when you're done. And whenever you get to your duty station make sure you politic with the PS rate. They'll make sure your paper work is always on top.

I'm a civilian but I'm an electronics engineer for the Navy. I go on TDY to Norfolk, San Diego, Mayport FL, Everett WA (Seattle), Pearl Harbor HI, Yokosuka Japan, Sasebo JP, Nagasaki JP, Seoul South Korea.

I'm on TDY over 60% of the year. So far the sequestration hasn't slowed down any of my travel.

One of the main perks of being on so much travel is that I earn a ton of frequent flyer miles and hotel reward points. I've taken a few free trips to Europe(London, Paris, Barcelona, Rome, Venice, Florence, Amsterdam, Brussels)

At the end of my TDY trips, I get to take leave and chill in whatever city I'm in or travel to other nearby cities. I've done that for free trips to my hometown, chill in Tokyo, Hong Kong, Seoul, Fukuoka, and some other cities.

Hawaii is my favorite my TDY destination...shyt does not feel like work. After work everyday, I walk outside my Waikiki beachfront hotel, go snorkeling for a little bit, bar hop along the strip, and do it all over again the next day.

The end of this year I'm going on TDY to Australia.
