I was never stationed at Sheppard but heard the stories. All the foolishness with the med group chicks was the stuff of legend. That's probably why they got moved.

Ali is nice most of the base has wifi unless you working on the flight line and the Dropzone has you covered if you're into sports...they used to have an army side that was jumping but it's closed down...pretty plus deployment

been out there a couple times...huge base plenty of things to do... the BX is huge.. its really fast paced depending on your job. german girls are great.. good assignment

Just randomly stumbled arcross this thread brehs.

Been in the Air Force about five years and half years been stationed in Oklahoma and Korea. Been
TDY to UAE and Turkey and i'm staioned in England at the moment not going to lie the USAF has been good to a brother. seprate in January and planning on going Reserves and use that Post 9/11 GI Bill and become a full time student.

I got out last October and I'm in the reserves now. Using that Post 9/11

What is humbling is working at this bullshyt part time job at Sam's Club, but it's just a means to an end right now

My best advice would be to make sure any injuries or ailments are documented in your medical records. If something is hurting and it's not in your records, go to the doc ASAP. Listen at TAPS. Have whatever you want to do next lined up or at least be accepted in a school. Enroll in ebenefts.gov and apply for the post 9/11. And don't forget that as a separated veteran you are eligible for 6 months of unemployment checks. Use that shyt! Lol. Oh, and do a DITY or partial DITY if possible.

I think I was in tech school with the last med group class in sheppard.

Ironically enough they were on squadron lockdown pretty much my whole 3 and a half months there.
