I keep hearing 2022 Nigeria will have another Civil War. The current administration is completely incompetent and tone deaf, but want to keep the power by all cost come 2023. Fulani caliphate. Insecurity is at an all time high and secessionist group are popping up each day.

one one hand Keita is a stooge and needs to go, but you can't force him out. It's against the so called Mali constitution and it sets a bad precedent. Most people who come to power through coups in Africa end up being awful beside Sankara and Gadafi. There's been fewer coup in africa over the last decade and the half. need to keep it that way.

It's a military coup d'etat. People who are from, or whose parents are from developing countries have seen this movie before.
The details about which interests back the leaders of coups filters out slowly, but surely.
